Cardigan No. 1: The pseudo Harry Styles
Very simple but time consuming to make. Just make an ungodly number of single stitch crochet squares and stitch them together in the pattern (below).
I also inserted the odd houndstooth square to add a bit of interest.
From this point onwards I gave my parents the respect and decided to just take pictures of the cardigans myself in my bedroom.
Cardigan No. 2: The Summer One
This one is my mum's favorite and probably the most classy of the bunch, which really isn't saying much.
This one is composed of the classic granny square (below), plus a few joining double crochet rows on the sleeves to mix things up a bit.
Cardigan No. 3: The zany goober
This is composed of the 'starburst granny square' plus some extra flowery granny squares I made up just to spice things up a bit.
It was the first cardigan I made and is quite the statement. I still haven't worn it in cambridge yet
Cardigan No. 4: The scrappy one
This one was made by stitching together all of the bits of scrap wool I had and then gathering the waist and sleeves. I used single, double and trible stitches plus the puff stitch.
